Sample Segments of Student Made Podcast Project
In the spring of 2018, I was enrolled in a Radio Broadcasting and in the class we learned how to produce and audio mix podcasts. A couple of classmates and I made a three episode podcast called “CANdi for you” a female podcast speaking from the female perspective in a wide range of topics.
Each student participated in a speaking role and audio mixed each podcast. Here are a few audio segments (a mix of both audio production and voice over) I did and made from this experience.
In Spring of 2018, UWGB held it’s second year celebration of the Communication Department to connect the students and alumni and to possible network in the future.
One of the new events held this past spring was called “Comm Film Festival” where students could show off their creativity in the first ever Comm Film Festival. The competition gave the students opportunity to build up their portfolio and network with the the pros. The objective was to create a video that clearly, creatively and uniquely connects to the prompt. The prompt was ‘Communication in the 20th century’ and had to be between 3 to 5 minutes and contain no copyrighted material.
The film I entered was called “The Fruit Bowl”.
